Teacher of the Year 2011
On August 20, 2011, The DeKalb County Public Schools Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the DeKalb County School System, hosted the 22nd Annual Teacher of the Year Tribute. This year's even was held at the Thalia N. Carlos Hellenic Community Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This tribute serves as a celebration for our teachers, honoring them for their hard work and commitment to educational excellence as well as recognizing our Partner Sponsors for their continued support of public education. During the night's celebration, the winners for the Elementary Schools, Middle School, High School and Centers were announced. They are:

Basketball Court Dedication!

HECCA and Boost Mobile held the dedication of the new basketball court overlay at Cary Reynolds Elementary on August 11th 2011 at 12:00pm. The DCPSF was pleased be hosting the event. The DeKalb Kids Home Collective

The DeKalb County Public Schools Foundation is very pleased to be part of the
DeKalb Kids Home Collaborative. Launched by a two-year seed grant through 2011,
